Yeah I think so. It's super-duper fast and easy (time from first loading site till entering books: about five seconds - including account creation!) and the social stuff is richer and better integrated. For some reason delicious library struck me as "ok I've entered stuff now what" whereas LibraryThing makes me want to play with it forever.
